Eco Friendly Cleaners
In most cleaning products are found several harmful substances. The use of ingredients that we easily have at home can be used to make eco-friendly cleaning products that are equally effective in disinfecting.
Lemon juice is a good option, as lemon is cheap and there are organic options. There is also no concern that small children have access to cleaning supplies. In that case, they would just get more vitamin C instead of suffering dire health consequences.
Just Plain Lemon Juice
Because lemon juice contains citric acid, it is good for killing bacteria and eating away mineral deposits. To get rid of lemon deposits, let the lemon juice soak on the surface for a while before cleaning it off. Use half a lemon to clean hard-to-reach places, such as inside the dishwasher. Rinse all surfaces well with a damp cloth and then dry to juice remover.
Lemon Juice and Salt
This eco-friendly cleaner is great for really nasty places like inside the kitchen sink or on wooden cutting boards. Bacteria love to gather in these places. Mix the lemon juice and salt until it is as thick as a toohpaste and use it to scrub like surfaces. This also works well for brass, copper and stainless steel.
Lemon Juice and Baking Powder
Food encrusted pans and dirty ovens are no match for this game. A dough made with lemon juice, baking powder and water will get rid of the residue after leaving it for about fifteen minutes.
